Water balance in humans is absolutely critical to health. Drinking water is a basic constituent for controlling and regulating all cells in the body, and is therefore essential for life. Since all metabolic reactions in the human body occur in water, we have to keep our body supplied regularly with water which is as pure as possible.

 

Safe thanks to UV disinfection

Sometimes, despite all precautionary measures, different contaminants can find their way into drinking water. To ensure the quality of drinking water, Aqua Innovation GmbH has developed a disinfection unit, Aqua UVtron, which ensures reliable, chemical-free disinfection of water without altering the original water quality.

 

We have the solution

The necessary technology for water catchment, treatment and distribution must regularly be adapted to the constantly changing limiting conditions in order to sufficiently cover drinking water requirements. For this purpose, we offer a wide range of efficient solutions. Alongside UV disinfection processes, there are also other impressive solutions such as the simple multi-layer sand filter, multi-layer woven mesh filter and sinter filter to the innovative ultrafiltration technique.

 

Drink more healthily everywhere

The demand for drinking water treatment solutions in decentralised and especially Alpine regions is constantly increasing and presents a great challenge, especially in remote or undeveloped areas where connecting to the nearest drinking water network is impossible or prohibitively expensive. High-quality spring water catchment chambers are also used here, filtering the emerging spring water and sealing the spring from outside interference. This application is of interest to developing countries as well.
